Elegy

I had a great celebration of Independence Day!

Anyway, I'm simply in love with East West's Sample library Hollywood Strings.  It's simply marvelous.  I'm in the works with a few compositions which utilize it.  In fact, I just finished a short little piece.  Take a listen.

  1. Awesome awesome!! What I love most about this piece is the single note in the viola section (I think) that sustains during the whole song. With the alternating chords underneath, it give the piece such a cool, simple (yet complex) sound. So good! And I love the soft timpani hits, and then the horn part at the end. Reminds me of something in a soundtrack that would be "opening titles" or something. Very cool. Keep up the great work!
